India to Spend $200 Million on Forest Conservation




















"India may still maintain it will not accept binding emissions targets, but it's sure stepping up on solar power, and now on carbon storage through forest preservation.Reuters reports that India's environment minister Jairam Ramesh has said that the nation will spend $200 million to protect forests and monitor the amount of carbon they capture"
